If you belong to a local REALTOR® association, the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) requires Code of Ethics training as a condition of maintaining your REALTOR® membership. If you are not a REALTOR®, this NAR membership requirement does not apply to you, although Wisconsin continuing education requirements still do.
Beginning January 1, 2025, REALTORS® must complete at least 2½ hours of Code of Ethics training during each three-year training cycle to maintain their NAR membership. Failure to complete the required training may result in suspension of REALTOR® membership until the requirement has been satisfied.
The good news is that Laurel Stone School of Real Estate has already included the required NAR Code of Ethics training in six of our Wisconsin continuing education courses. You do not need to take a separate Ethics class.

- Mandatory Hour #11 – Advertising for Wisconsin Licensees
After completing these courses, REALTORS® must submit their completion certificates to their local REALTOR® association for membership records.
