The Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services (DSPS) requires a total of 18 hours of continuing education for the 2025-2026 biennium. In the past, the required hours were obtained by completing six courses of 3 hours each. 

Education providers can now offer any increment of hours for a total of 18 hours of Continuing Education.  We are making them available as a package of 18 individual courses that are 1 hour each. Our individual courses have been approved by the DSPS to fulfill the requirements.  CLICK HERE to view our approval letter.

Licenses expire December 14, 2026 and CEs may be taken any time prior to that date.  Approximately 6 weeks before the deadline, the DSPS will send an email reminder with instructions to renew.  Renewals are not accepted prior to that time.
