WI Real Estate Licensing

Registering for the Wisconsin real estate broker licensing exam is easier than most people expect. The entire process is completed online through Pearson Professional Assessments.

To get started:

• Click Create Account on the Wisconsin Pearson Professional Assessments website.
• Check the box to agree to the required policies.
• Enter your name exactly as it appears on your driver’s license or other government-issued photo ID.
• Complete the required fields (only the boxes marked with an asterisk are required).
• Create your username, password, and security questions.

Once your account is created:

• Click View Exams.
• Select Wisconsin Broker from the list of available exams.
• Skip the optional Additional Information page and click Next.
• Review the testing policies. The most important thing to remember is that if you need to reschedule your exam, you must do so at least 48 hours before your appointment.
• Select your preferred testing center.
• Choose your exam date.
• Click Explore More Times to see all available appointment times for that day.
• Select the appointment time that works best for you.
• Add the exam to your cart and complete checkout.
• Watch for your confirmation email with your appointment details and directions to the testing center.

Many broker candidates earned their salesperson license years ago. Some already have a Pearson Professional Assessments account but no longer remember their username, password, or even which email address they used. Others may have tested before Wisconsin used the current testing system.
