Laurel Stone

Do I have to complete Continuing Education if I was newly licensed during this biennium?

It depends on whether you were newly licensed as a Wisconsin salesperson or broker.

Most newly licensed Wisconsin real estate licensees are required to complete Continuing Education.

Salespersons: If your original Wisconsin salesperson license was issued after October 1 of the even year of the biennium, you are not required to complete Continuing Education for that biennium.

Brokers: All newly licensed Wisconsin brokers must complete Continuing Education.

To verify your individual requirement, check the expiration date on your DSPS-issued license.
